Learning
At Chittaway Bay Public School we are dedicated to providing every student with a high-quality education that lays a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
Our teaching and learning programs are guided by the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) syllabuses and supported by evidence-informed teaching practices and NSW Department of Education curriculum resources.
Across Kindergarten to Year 6, students experience learning that develops essential knowledge, skills, creativity, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Our teachers use explicit instruction, carefully sequenced lessons, ongoing assessment and differentiated learning opportunities to ensure every student is supported and challenged to achieve their personal best.
Students learn across six Key Learning Areas.
Why choose us for your child’s learning?
Strong foundations
Our educators use evidence-informed approaches to deliver lessons that are purposeful, engaging and appropriately challenging.
This ensures every learning experience is meaningful and sparks curiosity, helping students stay motivated and deeply involved in their learning journey.
Clear and Structured Learning

This helps students develop solid foundations and confidence as they master new skills step-by-step, setting them up for ongoing success.
Inclusive and personalised learning
Our teachers adjust learning activities to meet individual needs, interests and learning paces through differentiation and inclusion. This ensures all students can access the curriculum and thrive.
Every student receives the right level of challenge and support, boosting confidence and enabling them to achieve their personal best.
Continuous Assessment and Growth
We regularly assess student progress to provide timely feedback that guides next steps in learning. Coupled with high expectations and a supportive environment, students are encouraged to persevere and celebrate achievements.
This creates a positive learning culture where students understand their progress, recognise growth, and feel empowered to overcome challenges and reach new goals.
